The skills learned in band go hand-in-hand with the desired skills needed by employers… reliability, commitment, attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work with others to name a few. Most importantly, band students demonstrate the ability to take on a new task/project with all its challenges and complete the task at hand delivering a completed and polished product.
